About RNSC 2020

    UNIMAS Nursing Students’ Conference has been organised annually since its first inception in 2010. It is now an annual event for the Final Year Nursing Students to organise it in collaboration with the Nursing Department, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences. In conjunction with 10th Anniversary of the UNIMAS Nursing Students’ Conference, the organisers proposed to change the name to 1st UNIMAS International Nursing Students’ Conference 2019 with the aim of attracting and gathering both local and international delegates. Besides, this year UNIMAS was appointed to host the 10th International Nursing Students’ Forum 2019 which has been organised annually by many Asian countries including Thailand, Indonesia and China.
    1. To enhance knowledge regarding health as a human right among nursing students, nurses and allied health professionals.
    2. To improve health care services via sharing and disseminating of new knowledge through evidenced-based practices.
    3. To enhance international network and global visibility of the Nursing Department, UNIMAS.
    Program Outcomes
    By the end of this conference, participants will be able to:
    1. gain advanced knowledge in meeting the challenges and opportunities of human right in health.
    2. explore various possibilities to improve health care services through evidenced-based practices.
    3. build and establish network among each other.
    Program Details

    The 1stUNIMAS International Nursing Students’ Conference in conjunction with the 10th International Nursing Students’ Forum 2019 will be conducted on 9th and 10th March 2019 at DeTAR Putra, UNIMAS. The theme for this conference is “A Voice to Lead: Health is a Human Right” which will be examined opportunities to improve health care access and outcomes by applying a human rights approach to health systems development. This conference aims to gather nursing students, nurses, and staff of allied health sciences, both locally and internationally to learn and share new ideas, research findings, and innovative projects. It is a two-day programme filled with various talks from invited speakers.

    Target Groups
    1. International and local nursing students.
    2. Nurses in the clinical, academicians, administrators, and supervisors from hospitals, colleges, or universities, both internationally and locally.
