About iCLS 2021

The 3rd International Conference on Language Studies (iCLS 2021) will be held ONLINE on the 8th and 9th September 2021. This conference, themed “Language Sustainability: Reality, Challenges and Directions in the Digital Technology Era”, is proudly organised by the Faculty Language and Communication, UNIMAS. We seek original research papers that include the following:

  • Language documentation and conservation
  • Local wisdom, literature and culture
  • Language, literacy, education and training
  • Language, media and communication
  • Language policy and practice
  • Language acquisition
  • Language and technology
  • Language and communication in specialised disciplines

The conference offers opportunities for researchers and participants in the field of language and cultural studies to share research results and expand their knowledge especially in this digital technology era. This is also an excellent platform for participants to establish multidisciplinary collaborations locally and at the international level.
