Paper Review Process
- Papers submitted will be pre-screened for conformity with submission guidelines and for overall appropriateness. Papers that pass the initial screening process will then be double-blind reviewed.
- The double-blind peer review process is employed to ensure that both authors and reviewers remain anonymous during the review process. At least two specialists in respective field of Engineering will be selected to perform the reviews.
- Each submission will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
- Relevance to the conference scope and theme
- Contribution to the scientific literature
- Originality and technical quality of the research
- Soundness of methodology and data analysis
- Clarity of presentation and organization
- Significance of results and conclusions
- Relevancy and Suitability of reference
- The review process will be conducted according to the following timeline:
- Initial screening: within one (1) to two (2) weeks after submission.
- Peer review: approximately three (3) to four (4) weeks per paper.
- Notification of acceptance: within six (6) to eight (8) weeks from submission.
- Authors will receive feedback in the form of a peer review report. The paper peer review process and the outcomes presented in the review reports will be monitored and verified by the editorial committee.
- Authors of papers requiring revision will receive reviewer comments via the confbay system. Revised papers must be resubmitted within the specified deadline. Authors should address each reviewer's comment point-by-point with justifications and necessary amendments to improve paper quality. The publication committee may conduct a further review round if deemed necessary after revision submission.
Publication Process
- All accepted and presented papers will be considered for indexed publication.
- Selection of articles to the indexed publication will be based on a number of factors including, among others, requirements from the publisher, quality of research, originality, style and scope area of the research. Selected papers may be required to undergo further reviews and editing before actual publication. The authors are responsible to adhere to the publisher’s guidelines, terms and conditions.
- All the accepted papers to conference are subject to review by publisher for acceptance. Publication of papers is conditioned on a positive assessment by reviewers and the publisher. The publisher has the right to reject papers that do not conform with their requirements.
- The editorial committee reserves all the rights to send the paper to any publications for consideration (with author/s’ consent), which the committee deemed suitable for the said submitted paper.
- Papers that are accepted must be presented at the conference, either by the authors themselves, or via proxy. In case a paper is not presented at the conference, it shall be deemed a "no-show". No-shows will be removed from post-conference distribution and will not be considered for publication.
- Exceptions to this policy will be made in rare and unusual situations by the EnCon2026 Organising Committee only if there is evidence that the no-show occurred because of unanticipated events beyond the control of the authors, and that every option available to the authors to present the paper was exhausted.
