MANUSCRIPT PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS
General Instructions
- All papers must be written in English.
- All papers must be submitted in MsWords (.docx) for review purpose via https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=febs2024
- Papers should be formatted according to the Guideline.
- Allow top margins of 1.00”, bottom margin of 0.5”, left margin of 1.25” and right margin of 0.75”
- Type single-spaced text and allow for a single spacing between paragraphs.
- The paper should include: title, author’s name(s), affiliation and present address, acknowledge, abstract (200 words maximum), an introduction, contents, a conclusion, and a reference section.
- Acknowledgements and information on grant received should be given before the references. Important formulae (displayed), figures and tables should be numbered consecutively throughout the manuscript.
- The length of the manuscript should not exceed 10 pages, inclusive of tables, illustrations and references.
Fonts
- Use font type Times New Roman.
- Use bold 12 point the title.
- Use 11 point for the author’s and affiliation names and addresses.
- Use 10 point for the text (abstract, body, references, and acknowledgement).
Headings
- Major headings should be aligned to the left-hand margin. Capitalise captions.
- Subheadings should be set in italics, bold and aligned to the left-hand margin of the column on a separate line.
Tables and Figures
- Use 10-point font.
- The charts and graphs must be centred and title should be at the top.
- Number all tables and figures with Arabic numerals g. 1,2,3 in the order in which the tables are first mentioned in text.
- The illustrations and photographs must be centred.
- Capitalise captions.
Footnotes
- Footnotes should be kept to minimum. Number all footnotes with Arabic numerals g. 1,2,3.
- Use single spacing and font size 9-point.
References
References should be complete and follow the APA Style. Examples:
